In honor of Brother Dr. ErvIn Jackson who retired as the Assistant Superintendent for the Sacramento City Unified School District, the Student Award Banquet promotes academic excellence giving scholarships to graduating high school seniors as a springboard to their college education
The Charles Drew Blood Drive promoting good health practices where members give blood to Blood Source under the chapter's account #1052
A charity event dedicated to collecting unwrapped toys or gift cards for girls and boys ages 4 to 14 displaced in foster care
March 12th of each year chapters conduct an appropriate service to recall the memory of those members who have entered into Omega Chapter
A concerted effort at the international, district and local levels to retain active brothers and return inactive brothers to full participatory status
International High School Essay Contest
Awards: Four College Scholarships
1st Scholarship: $5,000; 2nd Scholarship: $3,000; 3rd Scholarship: $2,000; 4th Scholarship: $1,000
Eligibility: The Contest is open to all college-bound, high school seniors who submit an essay application through a Chapter of the Fraternity for the Sacramento Area Epsilon Xi Chapter or Iota Mu Chapters.
The contest begin early September 2019 and ends mid October 2019. Winners are announced in June of the following year. 2019 Topic not published as of September 3, 2019.
Participate in activities that will uplift the community. Activities are Assault on Illiteracy/Reading workshops, The MLK March, Feed the homeless, Youth mentoring, The fatherhood initiative and participation in fundraising
Provides exposure, encouragement and financial assistance to talented young people participating in the performing arts. Winners are awarded recognition and may be given college scholarships
Chapters facilitate and participate in activities that uplift their communities through the power of the vote
