Chapter History 📜
In earlier decades, many cities operated intermediate chapters that brought graduate and undergraduate brothers together 🏛️. In Sacramento, that chapter was Alpha Rho, chartered on March 15, 1962 📜. As the region grew, graduate brothers recognized the need for a dedicated chapter focused solely on serving the community at a higher level 🤝. This vision became reality on April 10, 1976 🎉, when the Epsilon Xi Chapter was officially chartered as a graduate‑only chapter committed to leadership, service, and uplift throughout the Sacramento area.
Our Signature Community Events 🎉
Our signature events—Talent Hunt, Toy Drive, Gents Program, and the Student Award Banquet—reflect our commitment to uplift and service. These impactful programs showcase community talent, support foster children, and provide scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors who excel academically or shine in the Arts, Leadership, Sports, Clubs, and other activities. Together, these events strengthen our connection to the community and invest in the success of future leaders.
Serving the Sacramento Community
We have served the Sacramento community since 1976 🌇, with members contributing to civic, educational, governmental, and humanitarian efforts across the city 🤝. While our service spans many areas, our greatest commitment is supporting graduating high school seniors through scholarships 🎓, giving them a powerful springboard into their college education. By investing in youth and education, we continue to empower future leaders and strengthen the community we proudly serve 🌟.
