Chapter President (Basileus)

The Chapter President, known as the chapter 

 Basileus is the most influential position in the chapter. He provides the leadership and direction during his administration.  From the beginning in 1976 through today, Epsilon Xi has had a strong leader. The chapter members vote with a simply majority deciding who will be the next leader.  In 1999, the chapter bylaws were modified to define the administration term for the Basileus and the executive council members as 2 years. Prior to 1999, the Basileus and the executive council members were elected annually.
