The 41st Annual Dr. Ervin Jackson Jr., Student Awards Banquet is
Postponed until 2023.
We will still be awarding 4 scholarships in 2022.
Scholarship Applications are due Friday, April 30, 2022
The purpose of the Banquet is to recognize 2023 graduating seniors of African American descent for outstanding academic and leadership accomplishments.
Each Student is our guest of honor, and there is no cost for the students that are being recognized.
The students are selected by their counselors to attend the Banquet. The Student’s eligibility is based on their outstanding performance in one or more of the following categories:
Each Student will receive lunch, a Graduate Souvenir Booklet, and a certificate of recognition.
All students are encouraged to apply for our scholarship. This year Epsilon Xi Chapter and the support of the Nobility Educational Foundation, Inc. will be awarding four (4) scholarships. (See link below for details).
In 2019 we recognized 285 students from 16 schools. In 2020 and 2021, COVID-19 restrictions prevent us from conducting the Banquet. Fortunately, with the support from our donors and friends were able to award our annual scholarships in both years!

Your support will assist in our efforts to support our scholarship program and allow our students to be recognized at the ceremony and inspired by this recognition.
It is the hope of the fraternity that the recognition bestowed at this ceremony will motivate and encourage these students to continue their excellence in their future educational and career endeavors.
The Educators and Counselors in the Sacramento area school districts are the essential links to the success of the Students Awards Banquet. Over the past 40+ years, the Educators and Counselors have selected each student recognized at the Annual Banquet.
Thank You!!
